Description:Stella was the first self-fertile sweet cherry to appear that set a standard for modern high yielding varieties, for garden and orchard. Produces a heavy crop of large, dark red fruits which are sweet and juicy to taste. An excellent pollinator for other cherries. The best known dessert cherry in the UK and one you will most likely find on your local supermarket shelf!

History:Developed at the Summerland Research Station, Canada in 1968. Received an Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.
