Description:Buccaneer, like Broadview is one of the most popular UK Walnut varieties that is very suited to the British climate, more so than other varieties due to it's hardiness and late cropping. The nut is round and carried in abundance, particularly suited for pickled walnuts if they're picked when they're unripe in July. The tree should start carrying nuts 3-4 years after planting. A healthy robust form that's very heavy cropping. Suitable variety for the smaller garden as it can be pruned back to keep it to good height.
